Liability Trial Verdict in Volusia County

ABD Partner, Michael Merrill, and Associate, Yolanda Martinez, obtained a favorable trial result in an admitted liability case against a well-known Plaintiff's firm in Volusia County last week. The case involved a backing motor vehicle accident. At the time of the accident, the Plaintiff was standing in his work trailer and described the force as substantial. The Plaintiff's treatment included injections and pain management, as well as surgical repair of his low back. He also presented a six-figure life care plan for his future medical recommendations. The jury determined the Plaintiff did not sustain a permanent injury and the clients were thrilled with the outcome of the trial.
