Defense Verdict in Pinellas County

ABD Partner, Michael Merrill, and Associate, Yolanda Martinez, obtained a complete defense verdict in an admitted liability case against a well-known Plaintiff's firm in Pinellas County this week. The case involved a rear-end accident with moderate property damage to the Plaintiff's vehicle. The Plaintiff's treatment included injections and pain management, as well as placement of a permanent dorsal column stimulator. The Plaintiff also presented a six-figure life care plan for his future medical recommendations. The jury determined the Plaintiff's treatment and damages were not causally related to the accident and, needless to say, the clients are thrilled with the outcome. The clients will also be entitled to recovery of their attorneys' fees and taxable costs.
