Ms. Colbert is an associate attorney in the Orlando office of ABD, where she handles personal injury protection and fraud disputes throughout the State of Florida. Prior to joining ABD, Ms. Colbert worked as an associate at a large insurance defense firm handling PIP, vehicle negligence, fraud litigation, insurance coverage and carrier representation, premises liability, and general civil litigation matters. In addition to her civil litigation experience, Ms. Colbert has over seven years of criminal defense litigation experience. Ms. Colbert has tried over 30 jury trials, over 5 bench trials, and successfully argued countless substantive hearings in the Central Florida Area, including the counties of Brevard, Lake, Indian River, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. Ms. Colbert is also rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
During law school, Ms. Colbert was President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, served as a Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates, clerked for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Clearwater, Florida, and was awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award for completing over 300 hours of pro bono work.

Ms. Colbert is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and in the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association. Additionally Ms. Colbert coaches for the University of Central Florida Mock Trial program.
