Mr. Merrill is a Partner in the Orlando office of ABD, where he manages the liability department. His areas of practice include all aspects of insurance and general liability defense, including personal injury defense, premises liability, automobile liability, and insurance coverage disputes. For more than ten years he has handled thousands of cases in all aspects of litigation, including numerous jury trials with favorable outcomes. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® for Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants. He was selected for membership with the American Board of Trial Advocates - Central Florida Chapter, an organization dedicated to defending the American civil justice system. Mr. Merrill is also an expert in Civil Trial and Board Certified by the Florida Bar.

Community and Professional Activities:

Mr. Merrill is a member of the Florida Bar. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, as well as the Middle District of Florida and Southern District of Florida. He has also maintained active involvement with the Rotary Club of Seminole County South, holding various officers' positions with that organization and participating in their charitable events throughout the year.
