Ms. Alastra is a partner in the Orlando office of ABD, with over 20 years of dedicated experience in the legal field, specializing in the areas of first party property insurance actions and coverage matters. Throughout her career, Ms. Alastra has successfully represented numerous insurance companies, guiding clients through the complexities of insurance disputes from inception of the claim all the way through trial. With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving landscape of insurance law in Florida, Ms. Alastra is adept at managing all phases of litigation, including pre-suit negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Her strategic approach to each case, combined with their comprehensive knowledge of statutory and case law, has resulted in numerous successful outcomes, often saving clients significant time and resources. Before pursuing her career as an attorney, Ms. Alastra first gained experience by working for a contractor specializing in repairs and restoration associated with insurance claims. Over the years, Ms. Alastra has represented carriers for claims related to windstorm, hail, water intrusion, sinkhole, fire, theft, pests, collapse, and mold. She has been recognized five times as a Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2013. In addition, Ms. Alastra is fluent in Spanish and Italian.

Community and Professional Activities:

Ms. Alastra is a member of The Florida Bar Association and admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Ms. Alastra is certified by the Florida Department of Insurance as an instructor for continuing education courses. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator.
