Hazel K. Turner

Ms. Turner is a partner based in the Tampa office managing the first party property division of ABD.  Ms. Turner has represented a multitude of carriers on both litigated and pre-suit investigations throughout the State of Florida.  She has worked extensively on first party property cases, including hurricane, water, pipe, fire, wind, theft and sinkhole losses, often with a focus on SIU/fraud. She has obtained countless favorable results for her clients through summary judgments, dismissals, and settlements.  Ms. Turner is licensed with the Florida Department of Financial Services to teach continuing education to claims professionals and has presented at a number of conferences on insurance related issues. In 2023, Ms. Turner was voted a Super Lawyers – Rising Star.

A native of England, Ms. Turner earned her Bachelor of Laws with honors from the University of Bristol before moving to the United States and graduated with her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.  During her time at Stetson, Ms. Turner was a federal judicial intern, a faculty appointed member of the Honors Program and an internationally awarded member of the William C. Vis International Commercial Moot Arbitration team in Hong Kong.

Ms. Turner is a member of The Florida Bar Association and admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.
