Mr. Alvarez is an associate attorney in the Tampa office of ABD, where he handles Personal Injury Protection Disputes. Prior to joining ABD, Mr. Alvarez worked as an Assistant Public Defender with the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida where he represented numerous individuals facing criminal, juvenile delinquency, and Baker Act proceedings. As an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Alvarez successfully handled a high-volume case load, litigated countless legal issues, and tried numerous bench and jury trials to verdict. During law school, Mr. Alvarez worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, and was a Legal Intern at the University of Miami School of Law, Immigration Clinic. Mr. Alvarez attended the University of Miami for both undergraduate and law school.

Mr. Alvarez is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association, and the Florida Association for Women’s Lawyers.
